Information you provide

If you use the contact form, your name, email address, and message are sent to the site administrator by email so the message can be answered. ModelCarFinder does not intentionally store contact-form submissions in its catalog database.

Technical and hosting data

Like most websites, WordPress, the hosting provider, caching/security systems, and server infrastructure may process technical information such as IP address, browser information, request details, and security logs as needed to operate and protect the site.

Affiliate clicks

ModelCarFinder records an aggregate daily click count for individual catalog products. When you choose to visit a merchant, the outbound link may pass through an affiliate network such as Awin. The affiliate network and merchant may process information or use cookies under their own privacy policies after you follow the link.

Cookies and analytics

ModelCarFinder uses StatCounter for optional site analytics. StatCounter is not loaded unless you explicitly choose “Allow analytics.” If you continue without analytics, the StatCounter script is not loaded. When enabled, ModelCarFinder also instructs the StatCounter tracking code not to use its client-storage feature.

Your analytics preference is stored in your browser so the site can remember your choice. You can reopen the analytics choice at any time using the Privacy settings link in the site footer. The site may still use strictly necessary technical storage required for security, hosting, or the operation of features you request.

StatCounter and third-party merchants have their own privacy practices. Following an affiliate link can take you to a third-party site whose cookies and data practices are outside ModelCarFinder’s control.

Your choices
